Layered Landscapes

Join us as we paint an enchanted forest landscape with acrylic paints and masking tape. These simple but effective techniques can be applied to many different projects, and are a great starting point for young artists!

All skill levels are welcome, with all materials provided including aprons. We ask that students still dress in clothes they don’t mind getting a bit messy, just in case!

Tuesday, July 21

Pokéman Palooza

Gather round! First up, a crash course on how to draw your favourite Pokémon. Next, each student will receive their own small stand/table, suitable for bedroom or garden. We will be painting the stand using acrylic paints, and inspiration from the Pokéverse. Finally, using wooden cut-outs, paint, and paper plates, we will bring three loveable Pokémon to life!

We will provide a fun and creative experience for Pokémon and art lovers, all materials provided including aprons! We ask that students still dress in clothes they don’t mind getting messy, just in case.

Wednesday, July 22

Plasticine Pals

Ready to get your hands busy in your creativity? In this classic class favourite, we will create our own animal pals using plasticine, styrofoam balls for filler, and a styrofoam base for a sturdy surface to take your friend home on. These dioramas are a colourful craft that will engage your artistic senses!

Thursday & Friday, July 23 & 24

Marvelous Masks

There’s no hiding from your creativity here! Masks are a fantastic way to express your style and personal flair! In this two (2) day workshop, we will be making our own plaster masks! The first day will be spent moulding your individual mask, and applying the fabric. The second day we’re getting out the paint and getting colourful!

All supplies and materials will be provided, including aprons, but we do ask that students dress in clothes they don’t mind getting messy just in case.

All materials and instruction are provided for your creative kid to explore the world of art!
