Art Education Policies
Please read the following policies when you prepare to register for an art class or art workshop or art camp at Maggiolly Art.
Upon registering for a workshop at Maggiolly Art, you are agreeing to the terms set out here in our Art Education Policies.
If you have any questions please call us at 519-942-9560.
General Registration Policies
Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis; spots are capped at a certain number and so pre-registration is always required.
Registration is limited by space restrictions and minimal enrolment requirements.
Advance registration is recommended for all programs, classes and workshops!
Registration is confirmed only upon receipt of payment; payment may be made online, in-store, or over the phone.
All registration is subject to availability.
All programs, prices, and instructors are subject to change without notice (only under very rare circumstances).
Maggiolly Art reserves the right to remove students from classes when necessary to ensure the safety and well being of others.
Illness Policy
Students agree they will not attend an art class or workshop if they are showing signs of illness or if someone in their household has signs of illness.
We reserve the right to restrict admission or send a student home, when, in our opinion, that person is ill or risks the health or well-being of others. Refunds will not be issued due to illness.
Cancellation and Refund Policy
Payment
Payment for art class registration is due, in full, at the time of registration and is non-refundable.
Cancellations
If a class is cancelled by Maggiolly for any reason, registrants will be notified one week in advance or as soon as possible.
Maggiolly Art will provide full refunds if the class is cancelled by us for any reason, e.g. inclement weather.
In the event that a refund is issued for an art class registration, all refunds for registrations paid by credit card or through our online store will be less a 4% payment processing fee.
Withdrawls
Students who withdraw more than 14 days before the class start date are subject to a $10 cancellation fee.
Students who withdraw less 14 days before the class start date are not eligible for a refund.
Students who withdraw more than 7 days before the class start date will be issued a credit that may be applied to any art class within the same season as the class they originally registered for.
In the event a credit is issued, please note these policies: kids art class registrations are only transferable to other kids art classes, and adult class registrations are only transferable to other adult art classes. Registrations are not transferable between different people or members of the same family. Art class registrations are not transferable to art supply purchasing.
Withdrawal requests must be made by telephone by calling Maggiolly Art at 519-942-9560, or by email at maggiollyart(at)gmail.com.
Missed Classes
If you are enrolled in a series of classes and you miss one or more classes in the series, you are not entitled to any refunds or credits for the missed class(es).
For private art lessons, we require 24 hours notice for any rescheduling or cancellations. Any lessons cancelled within 24 hours are still billable.
There will be NO discounts, class credits, refunds, or transfers for unattended classes.
Cancellation of Classes due to Inclement Weather, Government Shutdowns of Business Operations, and other Circumstances Beyond Our Control
Please call 519-942-9560 to confirm classes in the event of inclement weather or other circumstances such as government shutdowns and natural disasters.
Students will be contacted via phone and email when the school is closed due to weather or such other circumstances.
Every effort to provide make up classes will be made but cannot be guaranteed.
Refunds will not be given in these rare cases.
