Students will learn how to break down characters into simple shapes, master expressive features, and design their own original characters inspired by both classic and modern anime.
With a focus on inking, costume design and telling stories, this class is perfect for fans ready to develop their skills and create art full of personality.
All materials are provided, however, you may bring your own sketchbook, pencils, eraser and sharpener.
Parents: Aprons are provided as some activities can be messy; please dress your students appropriately, thank you! You are welcome to arrive 10-15 minutes before the class begins.
Cam Miles is a professional animator who has worked on shows such as Fireman Sam and Caillou (2024), specializing in character design work and holds a degree in Visual Arts from Sheridan College.
