In this fun-filled class, students will learn how to transform real animals into characters bursting with personality. From oversized eyes to exaggerated poses, we will explore how to push shapes and expressions to make our drawings really come to life.
Through guided exercises and prompts, kids will build skills in drawing movement, emotion, and visual storytelling—while creating their own cast of unforgettable creatures.
All materials are provided, however, you may bring your own sketchbook, pencils, eraser and sharpener.
Parents: Aprons are provided as some activities can be messy; please dress your students appropriately, thank you! You are welcome to arrive 10-15 minutes before the class begins.
Cam Miles is a professional animator who has worked on shows such as Fireman Sam and Caillou (2024), specializing in character design work and holds a degree in Visual Arts from Sheridan College.
