In this imaginative class, young artists will explore a variety of tools. From marker and pencil to fine liners and acrylic paint, we will learn how each one brings ideas to life in a different way.
After experimenting with techniques, students will design and create their own mixed media animal, combining everything they’ve learned into one magical final piece.
Perfect for curious creators who love trying new things, this class builds confidence, originality, and a strong foundation in mixed media art.
All materials are provided, however, you may bring your own sketchbook, pencils, eraser and sharpener.
Parents: Aprons are provided as some activities can be messy; please dress your students appropriately, thank you! You are welcome to arrive 10-15 minutes before the class begins.
Cam Miles is a professional animator who has worked on shows such as Fireman Sam and Caillou (2024), specializing in character design work and holds a degree in Visual Arts from Sheridan College.
