Working through exercises for drawing proficiency and coloured pencil techniques, you will discover new ways to see and draw with colour.
In addition to understanding value (the relative lightness or darkness of a colour), you will be guided through transitioning greyscale value studies into colour using coloured pencil.
Instruction will include demonstrations and examples of all techniques and exercises, as well as positive feedback, including:

Mixing Colours
What is Negative Space and why is it important?
9” x 12” Sketchbook
Quality Coloured Pencils (required) e.g. PRISMA, Faber-Castell, or Staetdler
White Vinyl Eraser
Kneadable Eraser
X-acto style knife (Dollar Store is fine)
Fine Sandpaper 220 Grit
