OPEN TO ALL LEVELS OF EXPERIENCE

Artist Andrea Trace has a secret to share: an ordinary sketchbook can be transformed into a wonderful, portable sanctuary, a safe place for your thoughts, ideas, memories, and creative explorations.

Students learn all about the fun and health-giving practice of sketchbook journaling and discover the secrets of journalling for health and happiness.

Students explore a host of techniques including collage, lettering, drawing, page design, rubber stamping, and printmaking.

Learn to carve rubber stamps and use a gel plate to make printed papers in your favourite colours. Students also spend a day hand binding our own journals.

This class is for all skill levels from beginner to advanced. No previous art experience is necessary. Experienced artists will discover new ways get creative in their sketchbook and beginners will realize they have what they need to put their thoughts on paper in beautiful ways.
