Mixed Media and Collage with Andrea Trace

• Watercolour paper tablet and/or sketchbook, minimum 9" x 12" or larger

• Optional: one or two birch panels (any size; canvas boards would work as well)

• Acrylic paints in whatever colours you usually use; I suggest a minimum of one blue, one red, one yellow and titanium white plus any other colours you like

• Acrylic gel medium, matte or glossy

• Palette (I use a piece of glass so I can reclaim dried paint for later collages)

• White paper glue

• Plain white tissue paper

• Favourite pre-printed papers/collage materials: japanese papers, scrap paper packages, origami paper, magazine pages, old book pages, maps, ephemera, etc etc

• Watercolour or acrylic brushes: one 2" - 3" flat and a selection of others and an inexpensive brush to use with glue

• Optional: Other collagable items: tiny beads, seeds, feathers, leaves, bark, thread, etc.
