Whether you simply enjoy sketching and want to record the environment around you or are a painter looking to improve your foundational skills, join CJ Shelton (www.dancingmoondesigns.ca) and benefit from her 40+ years of drawing and teaching. CJ will show you plenty of tips, techniques and tricks that will allow you to draw just about anything with more ease, understand shading, demystify perspective, improve your compositions, and more.

This 6-week course will cover a variety of subject matter such as still life, landscapes and animals, using mediums such as graphite, Conte crayon, and pen & ink. Under CJ’s gentle and positive guidance, exploring different approaches – from loose gesture drawing to tackling complex details – will build your confidence and improve your skills in no time! Suitable for nervous beginners with no formal training as well as those with a bit of experience.
