Have you ever wondered how to create a variety of textures that can be integrated into your large scale contemporary paintings?  Texture can be used in so many ways to enhance your design and composition as well as to make areas of the surfaces of your paintings stand out to create more overall dynamic paintings.  Learn how to use various levels of roughness in your pebbled sand and rock textures, how to move your paint and textures with scrapers, and how to include photographs and found items into your contemporary paintings in order to make them more reflective of the artist that you are.  We will use acrylic gels, gesso, modelling paste, glazing liquid, handmade papers and other stuff together with acrylic paint colours to create a variety of art works on stretched canvas and birch panel boards that can become the main focus of any room.  Start collecting items to include into your textured paintings now and don’t miss out on this opportunity!
